Fishing In Troubled Waters 2.

A different crop and processing on yet another earlier post....

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.

'AMBROSIA' is what I have named this photoblog, since 'creative expression' is the nectar that nourishes the soul of all creative artists. One can spend a lifetime taking pictures which may eventually add up to just a few hours, but come to think of it, that may just be the sum total of ones life. A camera as a companion is an absolute must..be it movie, or still."

I prefer this tighter crop, Paven. Your silhouetted subject has a more prominent position in the crop - yet the powerful feeling of his desolation in relation to the sea remains. I also detect the second fisherman which I missed in the original post. A powerful image.

Great use of contrast in this pic, great composition... the pic really brings out the smallness of the person in relation to the huge scope of nature, but at the same time he, like most of us, seems to be entirely unaffected by what he is standing against! :)

The water looks like liquid metal. The silhouetted fisherman seems to be concentrating on his task and not noticing all the beauty around him. An excellent image.

Face à la mer
J'aurais dû grandir
Face contre terre
J'aurais pu mourir
Je me relève
Je prends mon dernier rêve

Facing the sea
I had to grow
Face against the ground
I could die
I rise
I take my last dream

Good day,
